Work Experience
Essentially a PaaS for hosting lotteries and promotional games for big companies (500K+ tickets in a drawing).
- Created the algorithm for an ‘instant win’ mode. It supported configurable odds per prize and limited stock. It also prevented any floating point inaccuracy issues
- Created the implementation to allow recursively generating promotional games, based on provided data. This allows an organization to host a game that also oversees multiple others’, e.g. Clubloterij by NOC*NSF
- Excelled in ORM (SQLAlchemy) and SQL performance related issues
- Wrote a PyPI package implementing RFC 7159 compliant JSON support for SQLAlchemy
A European bank that prides itself as ‘being an IT-company first’. As of writing, bunq provides financial services to 11 million users, active in over 18 countries.

Technical Expertise
I build with the future in mind. My decisions consider long-term impact: scalability, traceability, and maintainability. When insights are needed—whether for debugging or the data team—issues arise, the answers should be clear, not buried in guesswork.
Communication
I put effort into bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams. If needed, I will create visual representations. This ensures there is a concise single source of truth and allows everyone to make informed decisions.
Problem Solving
I tackle complex problems methodically, tracing issues well beyond the code—third parties, infrastructure, and everything in between. When I fix an elusive bug, I improve logging and monitoring to prevent it from recurring.
